Welcome to the India Students Association at UW-Madison

COME CELEBRATE THE INDIAN CULTURE WITH US!

ABOUT US

Over the past few years, ISA has become one of the largest and most active student organizations on campus. We have nearly 400 members, 40 years of history, and draw an audience of over 1,500 people to our anual show, India Night.
The South Asian culture is one of the world's oldest and most captivating. Using a series of lectures, musical and dance performances, and traditional celebrations, ISA promotes the sharing of this culture and heritage to the greater campus. Our organization represents a large population of students on campus and we welcome all to appreciate this culture with us.

Our Mission

The India Students Association was established over 40 years ago with a mission to promote and celebrate Indian culture and provide a platform for students to connect with the Indian and South Asian community at UW-Madison. Badger spirit and Indian traditions align at ISA to offer community involvement, leadership positions, mentorship and memories to last a lifetime!
